CRUELTY-FREE BEAUTY

List of cruelty-free beauty, fragrance and household brands

Today I’m going to share with you my list of cruelty-free brands, but first of all I have to make some notes in order for you to make understanding of this list way easier.

Unlike in my previous post where I just stated companies that test on animals with the link to their website and a parent company in brackets (if there was any) today I’m also going to add some extra indicators for different types of cruelty-free companies.

To make it simple after the company name you will see one or notes: CF, V or/and a parent company name in brackets, where:

Cruelty-free brands

CF stays for a 100% cruelty-free company, which does not perform animal testing for the final product or its ingredients, does not require third parties to do any animal testing on its behalf, does not buy any ingredients that were/might have been tested on animals and does not sell in mainland China (where animal testing is mandatory for foreign companies).

Vegan brands

V (100% vegan) stays for companies, which don’t perform animal testing for the final product or its ingredients and also don’t use any animal ingredients (beeswax, fat, collagen, musk, carmine, keratin etc.).

If there is a parent company in brackets after the company name it means that the company itself does not perfrom animal testing, therefore is cruelty-free, but the parent company is not cruelty-free.
