I bought this mascara long ago, but couldn’t make my mind on it for quite some time. I definitely knew this wasn’t a love at first sight story, but at the same time I couldn’t say exactly what was wrong with it for me.

The mascara has a very beautiful red glossy packaging with black pattern on it made of a soft material, which imitates lace. As per what is stated on the packaging, the mascara has vanilla scent to it, though for me it is anything but vanilla.

As you can tell by the picture, the mascara is black. However, this isn’t a jet black, looks more like a graphite color.

For me the biggest issue with this mascara is the brush, because I find it to be a little bit too big for my eyes and a little bit too stiff for my eyelashes. I would want it to be thinner, more tapered and more flexible. As to the texture of the mascara, it is very thick and rather dry than liquidy. It applies in a very thin layer, though for me it is way too thin. I have to dip ther brush into the tube several times to get sufficient amount of product, which is honestly quite annoying. Because of that and because of how fine the texture is it will hardly ever make you eyelashes clumpy, but at the same time it will not create a dramatic eyelook.

I have tried using this mascara with a different brush and it made mascara application a little bit easier, still I wasn’t 100% happy with how it looked on my eyes.

General impressions: I would not say it is a super bad mascara, but it didn’t work well for me. I guess girls with bigger eyes and more dense eyelashes may find it more helpful, while the formula of this mascara will be great in creating more natural eye looks, rather than the dramatic ones.

Will I buy it again? Unfortunately, not.
