I’m getting deeper into Ziaja skincare line and today would love to share with you my impressions on Ziaja Cashmere Nourishing Body Lotion.
Packaging. Packaging is something I noticed first and loved it – I’m a big fan of minimalistic bottles and tubes and this one is just the case. It is made of white plastic with some inscriptions and fancy pattern on it. The bottle has a pump, which is always super handy.
At the same time I was kind of disappointed with the packaging, because the bottle is not filled with the product to the full. I mean there is 400 ml of product inside, just like the packaging says, but the bottle has a volume of 500 ml (that is indicated on the bottom, so I can be sure), which makes it 20 percent empty. So technically everything is okay, but visually it is kind of deceiving, because makes you think you get more of a product than in very deed.
Scent. Pretty tender and cosy, mostly sweet and makes me think of cold time of the year with cosy knitted clothes and a fireplace rather than warm sunny days with smells of fruits and flowers all around.
The smell stays on the skin for quite a while.
Consistency. Very creamy, not too runny.
Application and wear. I like the way it applies and feels on the skin. My skin absorbs it pretty fast and I can get dressed in like a minute or two after apllication. I don’d have the tacky nor right after application, nor during the day.
Did it do what it said it would? Generally yes and I feel it to be really nourishing for me. I’m not sure if I feel my epidermis to be more firm, but I definitely do not feel lack of moisture with this product.
General impressions. Overall I have good impressions after using this product. In terms of design the bottle is really nice. I am a pro-pump girl, so it always makes me real happy.
I feel the product pretty comfortably on my skin – this lotion makes it real soft, smooth and reduces roughness. With my combo to normal skin which tends to be a little bit more dry during the coldest months of the year I feel like using it mostly in winter.
I can’t say that this product surprised me with its texture or quality and generally I feel it to be a really nice basic skincare product. The issue with how full the bottle is made me really upset, though.
Will I buy it again? Probably yes.
Pros: design, pump, smell, texture, nourishing properties
