I don’t have much of a problem taking care of my hair. It is naturally soft and silky, though I deal with greasy roots and dry ends. I wash hair quite often (like every day or every second day) and there are only two things I want my shampoo to do: let my hair stay soft, silky, and clean hair without making it waxy and greasy at the roots – I let hair oil and mask combat dry ends. At the same time, I want shampoo to foam well and rinse with water nicely. Good smell is always a plus. Kallos Banana fortifying Shampoo with Multivitamin Complex is exactly the case.

Packaging. Big plastic bottle with a twist cap. Not everyone would like it in use, but the bottle can be easily replaced with another one with a dispenser or you can simply attach a dispenser to the existing bottle.

Scent. Amazingly sweet and tasty banana scent.

Consistency. Moderately liquid, not too runny.

Application and wear. Shampoo foams and spreads through the hair really well. Hair does not feel sticky and greasy. Banana scent is really intense when you wash your hair, though is not perceptible when the hair is dry.

Did it do what it said it would? Shampoo cleanses hair gently leaving it fresh and silky. It hydrates my hair, but I don’t feel it can hydrate dry hair as well – many girls told that their hair felt to be even more dry after this shampoo. And I also don’t feel it to fortify hair, whether it be dry, greasy, or normal.

General impressions. I liked this shampoo right after I started using it and still don’t want to switch it. This shampoo is super cheap, especially taking into account the volume of the bottle, and one bottle will last you for a couple of months of frequent use.

Will I buy it again? Yes, I’m using Kallos shampoos for more than a year already and Banana shampoo is my favorite.

Pros: scent, size, price, consistency, high foaming properties, hair is soft, smooth and stays fresh for quite a long time

Cons: not enough hydration to suit dry hair and does not fortify hair
