Beauty UK Liquid Concealer Conceal & Correct Review

Conceal & Correct was the very first product I tried from Beauty UK and it is still one of my favorite.

The product is packaged in a simple transparent plastic tube with a white cap and has a soft brush that applies product gently.

The product does not have any perceptible smell.

Formula and application. Rch and creamy formula of the concealer offers medium coverage. The product applies easily and blends without lines or splotches. It does not stay sticky on the skin, but may cause creasing in the under eye area. So, make sure to apply powder if you have oily skin.

Color range.

Color range is not very impressive. There are three shades in the line – No.1, No.2 and No.3. The manufacturer claims they will suit all three major skintones (light, medium and dark).

No.1 (top) and No.2 (bottom) swatched

No.1 is a peachy-beige color with rose undertone to it. Though this shade is the lightest one in the line, it does not look light in the tube, same as when applied onto the skin. My skin is fair and the concealer isn’t any lighter. The product is pigmented and would work great for covering redness, discoloration and blemishes. Though it’s not light enough for me to use it for that purposes.

However, I still love this shade. Due to the peachy undertone it covers dark circles in the under eye area amazingly.

Wear and removal.

The concealer wears nicely throughout the day, does not dry skin out or make wrinkles more visible. It may crease on oily skin, so apply setting powder on top.

Removes great with micellar water or duo-phase remover.

Pros: texture, consistency, does not oxidize

Cons: color range
